Who are we?

Schwarzer Stolz is a Dobermann breeding of European bloodlines,

my name is Catherine and I am passionate about Dobermanns (yes it sounds like an addiction and it’s not far from the truth) 🙂 I have tried to give you as much information as possible on this website about this superb breed. I invite you to come back often because the site is in constant evolution.

All our puppies leave the kennel registered at the CKC and under a non-reproduction contract. They are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and will have already begun their socialization.

OUR DOGS

Our reproducers are tested for all known hereditary diseases in Dobermann (see Dobermann Health page for more details). They have a stable and well tempered breed-specific temperament, as described in the FCI standard. They are active, lively and very attached to their family unit.  Our reproducers come from European show and work champions lines. It is important for us to respect this standard both physically and temperamentally. We believe in the versatile Dobermann (Total Dobermans), which will accompany you in all aspects of your life, whether it is your sports, family activities, or a dog sport.

HEALTHY FOOD

It is no secret that good nutrition is essential for good health. That’s why our dogs are fed raw. Much research has been done to ensure the best quality and find the appropriate supplements for the breed.

DOBERMAN DIVERSITY PROJECT

Our breeders are all members and we are personally involved in this vast project that is close to our hearts.

DIVERSITY, COI

The DNA of our breeders was analyzed to estimate the COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding ) of a future litter. In other words, the marriages we do target the smallest COI, because one of the keys to better health is diversity.

WORK, EDUCATION

Training our dogs and making them work is essential for a breed that has been designed to work. Our dogs must be versatile, in order to accompany you in your sports but also to be outstanding family dogs. A dog that is satisfied and respected in its physical needs and nature is a happy and stable dog.

Our breeding stock is tested for all known hereditary diseases in the Dobermann. But you still need to find out what we can’t prevent.
